Hole 123456789101112131415161718

Hole 1 • par 4 • 333 yards
A slight dog leg to the right set up by a fairway bunker located at the corner of the dog leg. Look for the long hitters to cut the corner and get close to the green. Well placed shots will have a short iron to a green that slopes from back to front. Players will want to keep the ball below the pin to avoid a slick downhill putt.

Hole 2 • par 4 • 374 yards
Dog leg left around the Little Spokane River. A big tree corners the dog leg with a lateral hazard running the length of the hole and around the back of the green. Right center of fairway is the best area for a close approach. Look for the big hitters to hit their tee shot over the corner tree leaving 100 yards or less for their second shots.

Hole 3 • par 5• 493 yards
A gradual uphill par 5 guarded by a large pine tree in front of the green and a large bunker front right of the green. A good tee shot will leave the player the decision to go for the green in two. Once on the green the players face a fast green with subtle breaks.

Hole 4 • par 4 • 466 yards
Difficult tee shot awaits the players on the longest par 4 on the course. A partially hidden bunker in the landing area on the right side enhances this tree lined par 4. Players finding the fairway will be faced with a mid-long iron second shot to a unique sunken green guarded on both sides by bunkers. Par is a good score.

Hole 5 • par 4 • 391 yards
Some players may opt for a three wood off the tee to avoid a grass gully which runs across the fairway approximately 265 yards off the tee. Second shots to a small two tiered green make getting the ball close to the hole difficult.

Hole 6 • par 4 • 407 yards
Out of bounds left, bunker left, and trees to the right make #6 one of the most difficult driving holes on the course. A good drive will leave the players with a mid iron second shot to a well bunkered fairly flat putting surface. Two good shots here could be rewarded with a three.

Hole 7 • par 3 • 194 yards
The start of a stretch of seven holes where the players will not face a par 4. Depending on tee placement, players will be hitting anywhere from a 3 to 5 iron. Hazard left comes into play, and a shot over the green could find trouble.

Hole 8 • par 5 • 528 yards
Uphill makes the hole play longer than its yardage. Look for the drinking fountain on the right side of the fairway. Players hitting their tee shots near the fountain will have a good chance to carry the grass gully in front of the green, setting up a good birdie opportunity. The green, with it's subtle slope makes for some fast putts above the hole.

Hole 9 • par 3 • 183 yards
A mid-iron shot from an elevated tee to a green framed by bunkers on both sides, could produce a deuce, depending on pin placement.

Hole 10 • par 5 • 512 yards
Dog leg right, with water right makes for an interesting tee shot. Players hitting driver will be hitting to a narrow landing area but will be in range to hit the green in two. A flat green that's easy to read could produce some fours.

hole 11

Hole 11 • par 3 • 218 yards
With the pin back and tees back this hole can play almost 235 yards with out of bounds directly behind the green. Look for some long iron shots to a long narrow green bordered by bunkers on both sides. A great shot could yield a two but look for a par as a good score.

Hole 12 • par 5 • 554 yards
A well positioned tee shot is a must here. Left center is ideal avoiding the fairway bunker on the right. Two good shots will could carry the fairway bunkers 110 yards out from the green leaving the players a short wedge shot to a small tricky green.

hole 12

hole 13

Hole 13 • par 3 • 180 yards
A long-iron to a two-tiered green. Any ball left is trouble. With trees and three-tiered bunkers, left is definitely an area to avoid.

Hole 14 • par 4 • 413 yards
A chance for the big bombers to show off. A good high tee shot with a slight draw leaves 150 yards into a bunker guarded green.

hole 15

Hole 15 • par 4 • 345 yards
Water right, trees left greet the players on this otherwise short hole. A good tee shot will leave the players a short wedge shot to a receptive green. Could see some birdies here.

Hole 16 • par 5 • 558 yards
The hole that every player that plays SCC seems to remember the most. Hitting from a very elevated tee the players will actually be hitting across the entrance road to the club. A sharp dog leg right down the hill to the green. Out of bounds right and left. A long slightly faded tee shot will leave the player with a downhill shot to well protected green. A gamble off the tee may be rewarded with an eagle opportunity. A hole where you're likely to see some fours. But one errant shot can result in a six or seven.

Hole 17 • par 3 • 193 yards
A picturesque hole highlighted by the natural water springs. Club selection is the key here. The tee shot must carry the water and bunker in front. A shot long could easily find the hazard over the green. Players with good club selection should have a chance at a birdie.

Hole 18 • par 4 • 321 yards
An uphill tee shot hit 250 yards will carry the fairway bunkers. Second shot to a well bunkered deceivingly quick green. Good shots could result in some birdies to finish off the day.
